The placement cell of IBMR – Wakad consists of the active students of first and second year. They are led by a few well-trained faculty members, particularly those having industrial experience. Companies are invited to the campus for final and summer placements. The selection process comprises of written tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. The concerned students are groomed in such a way that they find it easy to face the selection process. The Institute believes in making students employable rather than searching jobs for them. Obviously, the employable students possess all those qualities that are required for the purpose of selection and recruitment process. The Institute also encourages the students to think positively of establishing their own enterprises. The Institute believes that producing one entrepreneur out of its academic efforts and practical-based opportunities to gain knowledge can create substantial employment. “Let us not demand jobs… let us create jobs” is the motive behind it

The Institute of Business Management & Research (IBMR) was established in 1984 by the Institute of Science, Poona to meet the growing needs of management education and training.
