Placement Cell

The placement cell of IBMR – Wakad consists of the active students of first and second year. They are led by a few well-trained faculty members, particularly those having industrial experience. Companies are invited to the campus for final and summer placements. The selection process comprises of written tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. The concerned students are groomed in such a way that they find it easy to face the selection process. The Institute believes in making students employable rather than searching jobs for them. Obviously, the employable students possess all those qualities that are required for the purpose of selection and recruitment process. The Institute also encourages the students to think positively of establishing their own enterprises. The Institute believes that producing one entrepreneur out of its academic efforts and practical-based opportunities to gain knowledge can create substantial employment. “Let us not demand jobs… let us create jobs” is the motive behind it

Cell organizes expert lecture series during seminar or at the department level in co-ordination with student organizations.

Objective of Placement Cell

To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.
To prepare students for campus recruitment arranging training in Aptitude tests, Group discussions, preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
To promote career counseling by organizing guest speakers viz. senior corporate personnel and most importantly by the immediately placed senior students.
To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.
To organize on-campus off-campus interviews for final year students and internship (training) for students with industries and reputed institutes
To maintain regular interaction with industry through Seminars- workshops, Guest Lectures and Conferences etc.
